Job Type: Full-Time & Part Time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare all types of sushi rolls
- Select fresh fruits and vegetables to increase quality
- Prepare additional items such as rice, etc.
- Regularly taking inventory of food, supplies and other products
- Measure, mix and prepare raw materials according to company specifications and recipes
- Operate and sanitize all bakery equipment in a safe and proper manner
- Effectively utilize shrink control procedures
- Comply with all applicable health and sanitation procedures adhering to safe working practices
Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience as a Sushi Chef
- Ability to work accurately and fast
- Excellent customer service skills

- Must be able to work weekends
- Servsafe certification is helpful

- Fresh seafood is very perishable so our seafood clerks must have the ability to maintain quality and attention to detail
- Maintain standards for product freshness and sanitation
- Sells products by providing customers with product information, answering questions and making suggestions
- Replenishes, maintains, and rotates products and display cases
- Cutting and preparing seafood for sale
- Operates knives, steamer, scale, and other seafood equipment
- Assists with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of retail/food service experience; experience working with seafood a plus
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Able to work flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to pass drug and background checks
